I like strings and paper!!Look at what you can make....

I started with strings... Sewed them on paper.......

And ended up with this pretty.

I really liked making these. I used Rachel's tutorial from over at P.S. I Quilt. She makes it sooo easy.
My  Iron loves to surprise me with a burst of steam now and again....Not Nice, curls the paper. So, I used my handy dandy wall paper seam roller to press out all the strings on the block. Worked like a charm.

I would love to make a entire quilt.....but for now. A potholder she shall be. Pin It
